Description+

GHK-Cu Serum is built around USP Grade Copper Tripeptide-1 (GHK-Cu) to help support the appearance of collagen and elastin production, visibly firmer and smoother-looking skin, and reduced appearance of fine lines.* Organic Emu Oil acts as a biomimetic delivery carrier — similar to skin's own lipids — helping the formula absorb deeply rather than sit on the surface, while also supporting the skin's moisture barrier. Organic Frankincense and Lavender round out the formula for texture and scent.

Customers said this serum provides excellent hydration and a radiant glow. The oil-based formula absorbs well despite initial greasiness. Many noted skin felt "plumper and moisturized" with improved texture. Some found the lavender/frankincense scent overpowering. Best for dry/sensitive skin; may be too heavy for oily skin types.

Excellent hydrating serum!

I really like this serum! I have very sensitive skin, so I started using it only on my neck and décolletage area. It has a greasy/shiny look when you first put it on, but it quickly absorbs into the skin. It leaves my skin looking slightly plumped and moisturized. Because it didn’t cause a reaction, I now have been applying it to my whole face as well every night. I haven’t had any breakouts or a rosacea flare, which for me makes this product a winner. It has a faint floral smell, but it’s not too overpowering (and I am sensitive to smells). The serum has a very light blue tint to it when it comes out of the bottle, but the blue tint does not transfer to your face. The bottle is on the small side, but a little goes a long way, so I think this is a decent value for the money. As for effectiveness, it causes an immediate hydrating effect. I am curious to see what it does for my skin long-term, as I will be purchasing more when this bottle runs out.

A rich oil that goes a long way

I adore this Nutricel Glow GHK-Cu Emu Oil Serum with Copper Peptides and Methylene Blue. I have seen small business brands and been curious, but the price was always prohibitive. When I came across this one, with a highly affordable price (currently $26/oz), I knew I had to give it a try.

A little dab will do ya, so be careful not to use too much. It's a rich oil, and takes time to absorb, but as it does, it's super moisturizing and effective for a long time, even overnight.

I'm not a big lavender fan, so I'm hoping they'll perhaps come out with other added fragrances, or perhaps an unfragranced option. With the simplicity of ingredients, it seems like leaving out fragrance would be on brand.

My skin has never felt so smooth and hydrated!

Absolutely love this serum! My skin is hydrated and glowing! The product is liquid so just be cautious when applying. Overall, if you are looking for something simple without all the ingredients you can’t even pronounce, this is it!! It smells wonderful, and the price is affordable compared to all the name brands I’ve tried that break my skin out.

Rich oil with a strong scent

Caution: if you hate lavender, avoid this product! I, however, love lavender so when I put this on my face, I was most pleased. The oil is rich feeling and I was shocked at first by the blue tint. A little goes a long way so make sure you use a gentle press when dispensing this product, otherwise you’ll get oil everywhere. It does feel nice on my skin but I only use it at night. I think it’s too heavy for wear under makeup. If you have excessively oily skin, this might not be for you either. I get little dry patches during the winter around my eye brows and forehead and this serum has helped with that. I plan to use it sparingly in the summer though.

Not for already oily skin

This serum is clearly marked an oil and is, indeed, very oily! I can't speak to much on the actives because my skin did not tolerate it very well, but the ingredients look to be nourishing and hydrating. The emu oil is what makes it so greasy feeling, and it's hard to dispense just a teeny bit. If your skin is in need of extra oil, this is no issue. But it did not work with my already oily skin. It felt too greasy, and though I could apply alright and it absorbed relatively quick for an oil, I was quickly left with breakouts in the morning. My skin is sensitive and this is not uncommon with new skincare products. But because I don't like the feel of going to bed with greasy skin, it's just not for me. A little really does go a long way, and the small serum bottle would last a while, especially if you can perfect a tiny dosing!

Be mindful of skin type and needs, this is probably best suited for very dry skin that does not break out easily.

Lightweight Glow Without the Greasy Feel

I was pleasantly surprised by this serum. The texture is a light oil—not heavy or sticky—and it absorbs really nicely into the skin without leaving that greasy layer some oils can have.

The scent is soft and clean, not overpowering at all, which makes it easy to use morning or night. It gives my skin a subtle, healthy glow and layers well with the rest of my routine.

The packaging feels sleek and dispenses easily, and a little goes a long way.

If you’re looking for something hydrating that still feels lightweight, this is a really nice option.

Skin is more even and healthy looking!!

I’ve been curious about copper peptides for a while, so I was excited to try the Nutricel Glow GHK-Cu Emu Oil Serum. First thing I noticed is the texture—it’s definitely more of an oil-based serum thanks to the emu oil, so it feels richer than your typical lightweight serum. A little goes a long way.
It has a slight blue tint (from the methylene blue), but it absorbs well into the skin without leaving any noticeable color behind. I’ve been using it mostly at night, and it layers best as one of the last steps in my routine.
In terms of results, my skin feels more hydrated and looks a bit smoother overall. I appreciate that it gives a subtle glow by morning without feeling greasy. I haven’t noticed dramatic firming (which I wouldn’t expect right away), but my skin does seem a bit more even and healthy-looking with consistent use.
One thing to note—because it’s oil-based, it may be a better fit for normal to dry skin types or as a nighttime treatment. If you’re very oily or prefer lightweight products, this might feel a bit heavy.

Overall, a nice option if you’re looking to incorporate copper peptides into your routine with added nourishment from an oil base. Just go in with realistic expectations and give it time to see gradual results.

Face Serum

This product has been a game changer for my skin. It is super hydrating, lightweight, and smells pretty natural. The bonus of it all is that it doesn't make my face breakout. My skin is pretty sensitive, but this stuff doesn't irritate it at all. It has emu oil in it, which is an amazing ingredient.

Great skincare routine addition

This is my first time seeing and hearing about Emu oil serum, to be honest I was skeptical to try it. So far I have used it a few times and I will say that since this item has copper you can definitely smell it. It also has an earthy smell to it, in addition to the copper scent. This feels lightweight and my skin has not had any negative effects to it. It does not make my face feel oily nor sticky which is good. My skin easily absorbs it and feels soft and smooth after application. It has definitely been a great addition to my skin care routine.

Scented emu oil very interesting to try and it works!!

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I ordered thid as i have never tried Emu Oil Serum. It’s been an interesting product to try. It comes in a nice-looking 1 oz bottle, and after doing a bit of research, I appreciated learning that the emu oil is bottled in the USA. From what I could find, the process appears to be humane, which is important to me.

The formula includes copper peptides and methylene blue, along with several scents like eucalyptus, peach, lavender, and frankincense. For me, the fragrance, especially the frankincense; is quite strong. Because of that, I chose not to use it on my face.

Instead, I’ve been using it on areas like my elbows, knees, and feet (with socks overnight), and this is where it really shines. I had a dry patch on my arm, applied it before bed, and by morning the dryness was completely gone. It’s very moisturizing and effective for rough or dry skin.

Overall, while the scent may be a bit overpowering for facial use, it works extremely well as a targeted treatment for dry areas.

Excellent for Aging Skin

I love this serum. I used it once daily for a week on my left hand and lower arm, while I used my normal skin cream on my right hand and arm. Let my photo be a warning to the young folks reading this review - wear sunscreen on your hands and arms and not just your face! I’m nearing 50 and have accumulated a good bit of sun damage on my hands and arms. I’ve used other serums to try to address this, but this Nutricel serum is the first I’ve used that actually helped. I noticed a more refined skin texture with much less crepiness. My skin tone was more even as well. This is deeply moisturizing also. I have dry skin and wash my hands a lot, resulting in cracked skin. This addressed my dry skin in just a few days. If you have mature skin, this is absolutely worth a try. It is a lightweight oil serum with the scent of lavender, though the lavender smell dissipates shortly after application. A little goes a long way; a couple of pumps were sufficient for my arm from the elbow down. The directions say to shake well, which I can verify is a necessary step to ensure even application of all ingredients. I think this is a good value considering it addresses multiple aging skin concerns with one product while being relatively inexpensive.

Rich oils with nutrients

This a smooth-spreading oil blend that coats my skin with an oily sheen. My skin feels soft, but I do moisturize with it because it doesn’t hydrate much.
I don’t notice any scent and appreciate that there’s no added artificial fragrance.
The methylene blue mixes into the serum unevenly when dispensed, even when I shake it first. Sometimes I see no blue.
I know methylene blue and copper peptides are beneficial ingredients for anti-aging. All I can say is my senior skin feels youthful and my finer smile lines around my eyes soften, but the deeper lines on my forehead show more because of the sheen. I wish it was more affordable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smooths and hydrates without irritation

I have dry, sensitive skin, so I always am looking for products that hydrate without irritation. This emu oil serum from Nutricel does an excellent job of that. It comes in a 1 ounce pump bottle and is a light oily texture. It has a noticeable herby fragrance which I like but which may bother those with sensitive noses. The oil spreads easily over my skin and takes a while to absorb, so I prefer using this as night. Once it does absorb, it leaves my skin soft, smooth, and well-hydrated, all without irritation. It has earned a regular spot in my skincare routine.

It's like glass skin in a bottle 😍 The glow though...!

This serum has officially earned a permanent spot in my routine. From the first few uses, my skin just looked happier. Smoother, more hydrated, and with that subtle glow that makes you double check your reflection like wait is that me. The combination of copper peptides and emu oil feels like it is actually doing something, not just sitting on top of the skin pretending to work.

Texture wise it is richer than your typical serum because of the oil base, but it absorbs surprisingly well. It leaves my skin feeling nourished without that heavy greasy aftermath. I have noticed my skin looks more even and calm, and it layers nicely with the rest of my routine.

Now for the scent because it is definitely noticeable. It has a strong earthy slightly herbal smell from the oils, and I can see how that might be a bit much for some people. Personally it does not bother me at all and fades after application, but if you are super sensitive to fragrance it is something to keep in mind.

Overall this feels like one of those underrated gems that actually delivers. Great ingredients noticeable results and a little goes a long way. Easy 5 out of 5 for me.

Very moisturizing and high quality.

I really love this Nutricel Glow GHK-Cu Emu Oil Serum. The oil is very high quality. I find it to be very moisturizing. I have very dry skin in the winter and this is exactly what I need. The oil takes some time to absorb into my skin so for this reason I only use this product at night. It does not leave me looking greasy once it absorbs. My skin looks extra healthy and younger after use and not at all irritated. I don't think this is something I would use during the summer as my skin isn't dry enough to need it. You only need a little bit of this stuff so even though the bottle is small it will last for some time. For the current price of $26.90 I don't think this is a bad deal since it's a high quality product with noticeable results.

Immediate softening, plumping and GLOW!

What *IS* this product? We'll start with emu oil, which admittedly, I had to look up. Apparently, it's a "popular, nutrient-rich oil used primarily for its anti-inflammatory, moisturizing, and skin-penetrating properties". Sounds good to me! The first thing that jumped out at me using this product was the color. It's a lovely shade of blue, hence the methylene blue ingredient. The second, and more important thing I noticed is the smell. And not in a good way. Frankincense and lavender. Lavender, I love, but the frankincense can go. Thankfully, it's not noticeable once other products are applied. The results? WOW! Instant glow, plumping and baby soft with zero tackiness. I was so impressed by the immediate look of my skin that I totally forgot to put any other serum or moisturizer on! If that's not a testament I don't know what is. Even after makeup application, I cannot stop looking in the mirror. I don't know what this product is, but I'm sold! Keep in mind it is an oil, so a little goes a long way. It may also not be the product for you if you have oily skin.
