That said, methylene blue is a potent redox drug, not a benign vitamin: it can interact dangerously with SSRIs/MAOIs (serotonin syndrome), cause problems in G6PD deficiency, and has other side effects (and yes, it can tint urine/skin blue). Highly recommended.

This supplement can have a very advantageous affect on one’s health. This brand is very upfront that the use of this supplement is not for everyone! For instance, if you are a caffeinated coffee drinker, you might research. Nutricel is very open with the results of its third party testing. There is a QR code on the label that you can scan to see the results. I posted a picture of the label. When I scanned it, I saw a very comprehensive analysis last done about a year ago. Using a mass spectrometry machine is very accurate. Yes there is lead and other heavy metals listed, but they appear to be in similar findings as to if a person would eat tuna or other sea fish, so it passes my personal concerns. The levels may come from having Cocoa in with the ingredients. Some medicinal plants used in supplements commonly leach heavy metals out of the soil.
