Third Party Tests

Third-Party Tests

Independent lab verification by Eurofins

Our Multi-Layer Testing Process

Most supplement brands stop at the bare minimum. We run three independent verification layers before a product reaches you.

1

NSF-Certified GMP Manufacturing

Every product is manufactured in an NSF-certified, GMP-compliant facility. Batch testing is required before release. This is the industry baseline.

2

Independent Pre-Encapsulation Testing

Unlike most brands, our manufacturer uses a separate independent lab to test every raw material and blend before encapsulation, verifying purity and potency before the capsule is even made.

3

Eurofins Post-Bottling Verification

After bottling, finished products go to Eurofins, one of the world's largest ISO/IEC 17025-accredited independent labs, for a final purity, potency, and safety check. This is the report you can download below.

How to Read Our Eurofins Results

Each Eurofins COA focuses on product safety and purity. Every test panel below was passed with results that are not just compliant. They are comfortably below industry limits.

Microbial Safety

  • E. coli: must be 0 CFU/g (absent)
  • Salmonella: must be 0 CFU/25g (absent)
  • Staph aureus: must be 0 CFU/g (absent)
  • Yeast & Mold: <100 CFU/g (premium limit)
  • TAMC: <1,000 CFU/g acceptable

Heavy Metals

  • Lead: ≤10 µg/day (USP limit)
  • Arsenic: ≤15 µg/day
  • Cadmium: ≤4.1 µg/day
  • Mercury: ≤2 µg/day

Why our reports show ppb, not ppm: Our Eurofins results list heavy metals in parts per billion (ppb), which is 1,000x more precise than the parts per million (ppm) many competitors use. A larger ppb number is not a red flag. It is simply a finer measuring scale.

Example: A 0.5g capsule with 124 ppb lead = 124 x 0.5 / 1,000 = 0.062 µg per capsule, just 0.62% of the 10 µg/day USP daily limit.

Suitability Tests are also included to confirm the capsule form does not interfere with detection, meaning the results are reliable and not masked by the delivery format.

What Is Third-Party Testing & Why It Matters

Third-party testing means an independent, unbiased organization evaluates our products to confirm they meet the highest standards for quality, safety, and label accuracy, with no involvement from us in the testing process.

Purity

No harmful contaminants. Heavy metals, pesticides, and microbes are all tested and confirmed below safety thresholds.

Potency

Active ingredients are verified to match label claims. You get exactly what you paid for, nothing more, nothing less.

Safety

Products are confirmed safe for consumption and free from substances that have no business being in a supplement.

Why We Use USP-Grade 99.5% Purity Methylene Blue

Quality starts with raw materials. Nutricel uses USP-grade Methylene Blue at 99.5% purity, the pharmaceutical standard, not the industrial grade sold by most suppliers.

USP Grade

USP (United States Pharmacopeia) is an independent non-profit that sets strict pharmaceutical-grade quality, purity, and potency standards. USP-grade methylene blue is manufactured under guidelines that confirm it is suitable for human use.

99.5% Purity

Most methylene blue on the market is lower-purity industrial or lab-grade material that can carry trace heavy metals or other contaminants. 99.5% purity means virtually nothing else is in the compound.

Why It Matters

Impurities in lower-grade versions can reduce efficacy and pose health risks. We source USP-grade material specifically because we are not willing to cut corners on the primary active ingredient.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Nutricel methylene blue third-party tested?

Yes. Nutricel products undergo three independent verification layers: raw material testing before encapsulation, batch testing at an NSF-certified GMP manufacturing facility, and post-bottling Certificate of Analysis testing by Eurofins, one of the world's largest ISO/IEC 17025-accredited independent laboratories.

What lab tests Nutricel supplements?

Nutricel uses Eurofins for post-bottling third-party verification. Eurofins is an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited independent laboratory and one of the largest testing networks in the world. COA PDFs are publicly available for download on this page.

What purity is Nutricel's methylene blue?

Nutricel uses USP-grade methylene blue at 99.5% purity. USP (United States Pharmacopeia) grade is the pharmaceutical standard for human consumption, distinct from lower-grade industrial or aquarium-grade methylene blue sold by many suppliers.

Does Nutricel test for heavy metals?

Yes. Every Eurofins COA includes a full heavy metals panel covering lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury. All results are comfortably below USP daily limits. Results are reported in parts per billion (ppb), which is 1,000x more precise than the parts per million (ppm) scale used by many competitors.

What is the difference between USP grade and industrial grade methylene blue?

USP-grade methylene blue meets pharmaceutical purity standards set by the United States Pharmacopeia and is manufactured under guidelines confirming it is suitable for human use. Industrial or lab-grade methylene blue is lower purity and may contain trace heavy metals or other contaminants. Nutricel uses only USP-grade methylene blue at 99.5% purity.

Does Nutricel test for microbial contamination?

Yes. Eurofins microbial safety testing covers E. coli (must be absent at 0 CFU/g), Salmonella (must be absent at 0 CFU/25g), Staph aureus (must be absent at 0 CFU/g), yeast and mold (under 100 CFU/g), and total aerobic microbial count (under 1,000 CFU/g).
